Leonelle Thompson is the Assistant Dean and Director of the Business Career Center in the Collins College of Business at TU. Leonelle graduated in 2004 with her BSBA in Accounting and in 2005 with an MBA. She spent almost 13 years in the oil and gas industry with ConocoPhillips and with QuikTrip in a variety of roles including taxation and financial accounting, revenue accounting, and corporate recruiting and training. In addition to her duties as assistant dean and director, Leonelle also teaches the Business 2001 course – Essential Business Skill Development and First-Year Experience course.
She is certified by the Exceptional Leaders Lab in Temperament Fluency training and is a member of MOSAIC, the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s diversity business council. She serves as vice-chairperson for the TU Staff Advisory Council, is a member of the TU Staff Advisory Council Diversity and Inclusion Committee and also chairs the diversity and inclusion committee for the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers. Leonelle has a passion for people and helping them succeed. She is a Tulsa native and enjoys spending time with her husband.
